PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT – WATER RESTRICTIONS

The Town of Astatula has been notified that the St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD) has issued a Phase III Extreme Water Shortage Order which now includes Lake County.

Effective immediately, landscape irrigation restrictions have been reduced from two (2) days per week to one (1) day per week as follows:

Residential Irrigation Schedule
• Odd-numbered addresses: Saturday only
• Even-numbered addresses: Sunday only

Non-Residential Irrigation
Tuesday only

Irrigation is prohibited between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM

These measures are necessary due to ongoing drought conditions and increased strain on regional water resources. Residents and businesses are encouraged to conserve water whenever possible.

Additional information from SJRWMD is expected later today or tomorrow. The Town will continue to provide updates as they become available.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping protect our community’s water supply.
