{"id":6300,"date":"2026-05-12T12:47:39","date_gmt":"2026-05-12T16:47:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/townofastatula.com\/docs\/?p=6300"},"modified":"2026-05-12T12:47:39","modified_gmt":"2026-05-12T16:47:39","slug":"public-service-announcement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/townofastatula.com\/docs\/public-service-announcement\/","title":{"rendered":"Public Service Announcement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT \u2013 WATER RESTRICTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The Town of Astatula has been notified that the St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD) has issued a <strong>Phase<\/strong> III<strong> Extreme Water Shortage Order<\/strong> which now includes Lake County.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Effective immediately, landscape irrigation restrictions have been reduced from <strong>two (2) days per week to one (1) day per week<\/strong> as follows:<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Residential Irrigation Schedule<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Odd-numbered addresses: <strong>Saturday only<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Even-numbered addresses: <strong>Sunday only<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Non-Residential Irrigation<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 <strong>Tuesday only<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Irrigation is prohibited between <strong>8:00 AM and 6:00 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">These measures are necessary due to ongoing drought conditions and increased strain on regional water resources. Residents and businesses are encouraged to conserve water whenever possible.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Additional information from SJRWMD is expected later today or tomorrow.
